What KEYPASS is

KEYPASS is a gateway that lets you, the owner, connect your own account with a supported AI provider (currently Anthropic and OpenAI) and issue passes that let other people, applications or agents (pass holders) use that account within limits you set: a spending allowance, permitted models, an expiry and optional rate limits.

KEYPASS is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Anthropic, OpenAI or Robinhood.

Signing in

You sign in by signing a message with a crypto wallet on Robinhood Chain. KEYPASS never asks for, receives or stores your wallet’s private key or seed phrase, and signing in never moves funds. Your wallet address identifies your workspace. You are responsible for the security of your wallet and for everything done through your signed-in session.

Your provider keys

When you add a provider API key, you confirm that you are authorised to use it and to let others use it through KEYPASS. You remain the provider’s customer. Your agreement with the provider, its usage policies and its billing continue to apply, and it is your responsibility to make sure that giving pass holders access is allowed under those terms.

KEYPASS encrypts provider keys at rest, uses them only to forward requests made with your passes, and never returns them through the console or the API. You can revoke a key at any time. Revoking it in KEYPASS does not revoke it with the provider; rotate it there if you believe it has been exposed.

Passes

A pass is a revocable authorisation to use your connected provider account within the limits you set. A pass is not money, stored value, a gift card, a financial account or a security, and it has no cash value.

A pass secret is shown once when the pass is created. KEYPASS stores it only in a form that cannot be read back, so a lost secret cannot be recovered; issue a new pass instead. Anyone holding a pass secret can use the pass until it expires, runs out or is revoked. Owners are responsible for who they give passes to; pass holders must keep them private and use them only as the owner intends.

You can revoke a pass at any time, and it stops working for new requests immediately. KEYPASS may freeze a pass for review, for example when a request costs more than was reserved for it.

Usage and provider charges

Before forwarding a request, KEYPASS reserves an estimate of the most it could cost and refuses requests that the pass or workspace allowance cannot cover. After the provider responds, KEYPASS records the cost from the provider’s reported usage and releases the rest of the reservation.

The provider bills you directly, and its bill is the official record. Figures in KEYPASS are calculated from the provider’s reported usage and published prices and may differ from your provider invoice, for example because of price changes, rounding, taxes or provider-side adjustments. Allowances limit what KEYPASS will forward; they are not a guarantee about your provider bill.

Some outcomes cannot be known for certain, such as a connection that drops after a request was sent. KEYPASS does not assume these were free: it holds the reserved amount and marks the request for review until it is resolved. The provider may still charge for such requests.

Token tiers

Some limits, such as how many provider keys you can connect and how many passes you can keep open, depend on a tier. Your tier is determined by your wallet’s balance of the KEYPASS token as a share of total supply, read from Robinhood Chain when you sign in. Tier limits are checked when you add a key or open a pass and are not applied retroactively to keys or passes that already exist.

Tiers are a product feature. Nothing on KEYPASS is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and KEYPASS makes no promise about the value, price, liquidity or future of any token. Tier names, thresholds and limits may change. Until the token is live, every wallet is on the entry tier.

Acceptable use

You must not use KEYPASS to:

• break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• add credentials you are not authorised to use, or access another person’s workspace;
• resell or share provider access in a way your provider’s terms do not allow;
• bypass, probe or interfere with allowances, rate limits, authentication or other controls;
• create malware, phishing, spam, or content that violates your provider’s usage policies;
• disrupt, overload or attack KEYPASS or any connected service.

Content and AI output

Prompts and other content are forwarded to your provider to fulfil the request and are handled under the provider’s terms. KEYPASS records metadata needed to meter and reconcile usage, such as model, token counts, cost and status. It is not a store for your prompts or responses. You are responsible for what you and your pass holders submit. AI output can be wrong or incomplete; check it before relying on it.

Fees

KEYPASS does not currently charge a fee for the service. Provider usage is billed to you by your provider. If KEYPASS introduces fees, prices will be shown before they apply and you will be able to stop using the service before being charged.

Security

KEYPASS uses industry-standard encryption and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure and KEYPASS cannot guarantee that unauthorised access will never occur. If you suspect a key or pass has been exposed, revoke it in KEYPASS and rotate the key with your provider straight away.

Availability

KEYPASS may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. It depends on third parties, including providers, hosting and blockchain infrastructure, and is not guaranteed to be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

Suspension and termination

KEYPASS may suspend or revoke access, including individual passes, if you break these Terms, create a security risk, or use the service for fraud or abuse, or if a provider requires it. You can stop using KEYPASS at any time by revoking your passes and keys.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, KEYPASS is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, KEYPASS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business, or for provider charges, provider outages or price changes, AI output, or use of a pass or key that you or a pass holder exposed. KEYPASS’s total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid KEYPASS in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if none. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes to these Terms

KEYPASS may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above always shows the current version. If you keep using KEYPASS after an update takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the KEYPASS operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms removes protections that the law of your place of residence gives you and that cannot be waived.
